Vancouver BC, CANADA 1989

Rev. Rick and Tony "Long Legs" La Borie, childhood friends reunited by a mutual love for Elvis. played on street corners and at local coffee shops to try to make a few bucks with a cheap acoustic guitar and a stand up bass borrowed from the high school band. "Boxcar" Dave Marchant, asked them to start a band and the boys recruited Crash Gordon, a talented, fresh faced, drummer from a rival school. The result, crazy blues-punk-a-billy mix they called The Rattled Roosters. After a few grueling tours through Canada's frozen Prairies Inevitably the band longed for a fuller sound and replaced the harmonica with a lead guitar.
Lucky, the new guitar player, Rick, Tony and Crash quit their day jobs and spent many months traveling Canada's bitter highways, playing in bars and out door festivals.
